I’ve been participating in Adele Bruno’s weekly ‘It’s As String Thing’ challenges that she hosts on her website Tickled to Tangle, for a few months now.
However, I’ve been lax in sharing the tiles that I’ve completed for the weekly challenges since the spring. The last time I shared one of my tiles was almost 10 challenges ago. That was challenge 288 where Adele chose patterns for us to use that resembled spring flowers.
Because of my illness, for the last six years I’ve spent most of my time indoors, even during beautiful summer days. Some days, it’s hard to move around to do the most basic tasks, when you’re in pain. ALL. THE. TIME. However, so far this summer, I’ve had the chance to spend time away from home and outside enjoying sunshine and fresh air; and I am beyond grateful for the opportunities to do this.
After looking at the elements of the weekly ‘It’s A String Thing’ challenge that Adele Bruno chooses, it usually takes a little time to decide what I’m going to do with them. For challenge 288, it took a few days for me to figure out where to start within the string (guideline) that Adele gave us. Continue reading
